This is the process of making my final garment which is an avant garde dress.

I have chosen Art Nouveau as my inspiration. The contrasting combination of simplicity with complexity is an appealing characteristic of this art form and I would like to use that in my design. The soft, curvy, organic lines and light, fresh colours create a wonderful and elegant look.

Quilling is an amazing pastime for me and I enjoy it. So I decided to culminate this into my garment.

this is a drape dress made by me. it is inspired by flowers. its the first dress i designed n draped myself :) i painted the white satin with red water colour and attached crape paper flowers to it. it was amazing fun making this :)

Equus Ferus Caballus

This project was volunteer work done for the Blue Cross Society, Pune which is a shelter for animals. So I chose silhouettes of  horses as my theme.  I made stencils of the different movements of horses and painted the wall with oil paints.

I used Eadweard Muybridge's Horse in Motion as my inspiration.

Inspired by Issey Miyake's origami collection 132.5, one6eight is made with origami flowers stuck  on canvas with a cardboard foundation.
